Business Insurance
Protect your company
Affordable coverage for lawsuits, accidents, and unexpected risks.
General liability insurance is the foundation of business protection. It helps cover the costs if your company is held responsible for bodily injury, property damage, or advertising injury (like libel or copyright issues).
Think of it as a shield: if a customer slips and falls in your store, if your work accidentally damages someone’s property, or if an ad you run sparks a legal claim, general liability insurance steps in to handle the expenses.
Protects against claims of bodily injury, property damage, or advertising injury. Required by landlords, clients, or licensing boards.
Covers buildings, inventory, furniture, and business equipment.
Available as part of a Business Owners Policy (BOP).
Combines general liability + property + loss of income.
Ideal for small to midsize businesses.
Covers mistakes, errors, or omissions in your work.
Essential for consultants, real estate pros, and service-based businesses.
Covers company-owned vehicles or employees using cars for work. Includes liability, physical damage, and hired/non-owned auto.
Mandatory in most states once you hire employees.
Covers work injuries, medical costs, and lost wages.
Protects against hacking, data breaches, and digital theft.
Highly recommended for businesses with customer data or e-commerce.
Adds extra liability coverage above all other policies.
Protects your assets from major lawsuits or claims.
Shield your business from third‑party claims—bodily injury, property damage, and those messy advertising disputes—so you can keep the doors open and the lights on.

GL helps cover third-party claims for bodily injury (e.g., a customer slip-and-fall), property damage you cause to others, and personal/advertising injury (like libel/slander). It pays for legal defense and settlements up to your policy limits.
Your own property, your employees’ injuries (that’s Workers’ Comp), professional errors/advice (that’s E&O/Professional Liability), auto accidents (Commercial Auto), and intentional misconduct. Read your exclusions—fine print isn’t fun, but it matters.
Usually not by statute, but landlords, vendors, and clients often require it in contracts. If you sign agreements, odds are you’ll be asked for GL with specific limits and endorsements.
Common limits are $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate. Choose based on your foot traffic, project size, contractual requirements, and risk tolerance. For bigger contracts or venues, consider a $3–$5M umbrella.
GL covers physical-world accidents and certain personal/advertising injuries. E&O covers financial loss from your professional advice or services. Many businesses need both. Different risks, different safety nets.
GL can cover liability for damage or injury your team causes to others, but it does not cover your employees’ on-the-job injuries. That’s Workers’ Compensation territory.
GL is typically occurrence: if the incident happens during the policy term, you’re covered—even if the claim is filed later. Claims-made triggers when the claim is reported and requires careful attention to retro dates and tails.
Yes—common endorsements include Additional Insured (AI), Primary & Non-Contributory, and Waiver of Subrogation. Availability, wording, and fees depend on the carrier and your class of business.
After binding coverage and confirming endorsements, we can typically issue COIs quickly—often same day depending on carrier and requirements. Tight deadline? Tell us upfront so we can prioritize.
Pricing depends on industry, revenue/payroll, location, limits, and loss history. Many small businesses land in the ~$400–$1,200/year range for $1M/$2M limits, but high-risk trades or past claims will run higher. Monthly options are usually available.
Many GL policies have no deductible for liability claims, though carriers may apply deductibles to certain property damage or special coverages. Your quote will spell this out—no guessing required.
Frequently, yes. A Business Owners Policy (BOP) bundles GL with Business Property and Business Income. Contractors may add Tools & Equipment; higher-risk ops might add an Umbrella for extra limits.
